With an outstanding background of extensive conservatory training in musical theatre and dance, and over 6 years of professional performing experience under his belt, Mason is ready and eager to bring both his passion, experience, and playfulness into the rehearsal process.

 

Mason Derreck Lewis graduated from The Cobb County Center of Excellence in the Performing Arts, a nationally accredited performing arts magnet program just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and went on to study Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

Graduating a semester early, Mason was eager to get his professional career started! He went on to perform in the 2017 Broadway National Tour of the Tony Award winning Revival musical, "Pippin". Mason performed the "Manson Trio", originally choreographed by Bob Fosse and reimagined by the incomparable Chet Walker, in 28 states and parts of Canada. He also was the 1st understudy & went on several times as Pippin, Lewis, and King Charles. Mason then went on to be a Singer/Dancer with Norwegian Creative Studios, where he was lucky enough to travel to 37 countries getting to do what he loves most!

 

 Now, Mason can be found in the studio teaching classes at Jane DO in Jersey City, as well as acting and musical theater dance styles at Class Act Performing Arts Studio.  Nothing brings Mason more joy than the musical theatre industry, and he is both eager and hopeful for the return and renaissance of live theatre!
